Nunes Productions, a Washington, DC-based limited liability, is comprised of Brand Nu Sound, Brand Nu Video and Brand Nu Words. Brand Nu Sound is the audio side of the company, handling audio consulting, voiceover, sound system construction, and deejay services. Brand Nu Video is the video side of the company, handling all facets of video production including commercials, creating visual marketing tools, consulting, business conference coverage, weddings, legal depositions and testimony and more.

Brand Nu Words is Nunes Productions' latest venture, and is an exciting new publishing company focusing on the literary and spoken word. Brand Nu Words released Nappy by Charisse Carney-Nunes on January 1, 2006, and has sold over 700 copies to date! The company's first book, Songs of a Sistermom: Motherhood Poems, also by Carney-Nunes, was released in March 2004 and has sold over 1500 copies to date!!! Many projects are on the horizon for Brand Nu Words including a February 2006 companion release of our first music project "Nappy -- The Spoken Word CD," and the May 2006 release of a spoken word CD based on "Songs of a Sistermom." Upcoming literary projects including a "sequel" to Nappy for little boys, a book on celebrating Kwanzaa, and a book all about motherhood.

Some of Brand Nu Sound's and Brand Nu Video's latest projects have been: Central State University Homecoming and alumni reception, where the main event held over 2,400 students, and Mr Nunes hosted and produced the music for the entire weekend; Zanzibar on the Waterfront of Washington DC, where Mr Nunes has been the host and deejay in the VIP and membership room; and Hoop Magic, an annual celebrity basketball game, where Mr. Nunes serves as sound consultant, Halftime Show Coordinator, and creates all video and marketing materials, such as commercials and promotional pitches to sponsors. The 4th annual Hoop Magic Celebrity All-Star Game drew 8,500 people of all ages to the Los Angeles, California Forum, and was aired on Comcast CN-8. The Performances included Snoop Dogg, Kanya West and David Banner. Finally, and most recently Mr. Nunes shot the behind-the-scenes and live concert for up and coming pop artist Angel Faith, who is currently a part of the save the music tour on VH-1.
